Francesco Fraccalvieri, Technical Director, is an electrical engineer with a Master’s Degree from Politecnico di Bari and a Master from Sapienza University in Rome. He has over 20 years of experience in the design, construction, and management of production and facility plants, specializing in both low and high voltage systems. With extensive experience in health and safety (H&S), he regularly delivers training courses on electrical and machine safety for employees. Francesco serves as HSE Manager for various PV portfolios managed by SunGAP and is the Health and Safety Coordinator and Director of Works during the construction, revamping, or repowering of plants, managing projects exceeding 200 MW.
Prior to joining SunGap, Francesco worked as a freelance consultant for IMQ, a leading European entity in conformity assessment, focusing primarily on electrical safety for plants with low, medium, and high voltage, hospitals, explosive environments, lightning protection systems, and lift and component testing.
Throughout his career, Francesco has worked as an electrical designer for hundreds of industrial plants (Bosch, Magneti Marelli, Peroni, Banca Intesa, Divella, etc.), hospitals, and municipalities. Francesco has worked with companies such as 9REN, Solarig, and Enovos, gaining over 15 years of experience in electrical design for PV plants, medium/high voltage connections, and substations.
Throughout his career, he has designed more than 50 MW of electrical systems for these projects.
