Giacomo Dachille

Giacomo Dachille, Founder, is an experienced engineer specializing in Independent Power Producers and renewable energy. With a Master’s Degree at Politecnico di Bari in electrical engineering and an EMBA at Bologna Business School, He has about 20 years of experience as designer of electrical systems, project manager and later operation manager in process plants, industrial sites, airports, electric utilities and renewable energy (solar, wind, biomass). Having worked for large investor owned IPP, developers and international private equity owned companies, he is familiar with the challenges of project financing, thigh cash control and meticulous reporting procedures. With hundreds of MW of PV plants designed, more than 500MW of plants managed and restructured, Giacomo has a very strong experience in the solar sector. 

Since 2014, Giacomo has been a partner at Netplan Italia, supporting operators in optimizing renewable energy assets and turnaround projects for major clients like Ardian and Enovos.

Prior to Netplan, he restructured and managed a 145 MW photovoltaic portfolio at GSF, and earlier, oversaw €120M worth of new projects at 9REN, focusing on project management, equipment sourcing and cost reduction.
